Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won through the balance bar. She became the only American to have won the most Olympic medals. In the 2016, Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal for the team event, which earned her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being among the few Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. She also won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. Following the 2nd Olympics, she was off for three years from gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also won 2 World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of 2 and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. Aly is planning to pursue an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her line of leotards. She is writing a book titled Fierce to be published in the coming months.
